Hi Jerry,

I professionally build pattern models especially for guys who fly FAI F3A
class. My method of glassing single piece wing is as follows:
Lay two layers of 3 oz. glass, one 8 inch and one 10 inch wide, the wide
cloth on top of the narrow one.
Pour the epoxy sparingly and wet the cloths entirely using a playing card.
so that the texture of the cloth is noticeable.
Spread the epoxy about an inch or two to the bare balsa skin to make a
smooth transition.
Soak the excess epoxy using a roll of toilet paper.
After the epoxy fully cured lightly sand smooth without disturbing the
cloth.
Fill all the transition area and the weave of the cloth with NHP Balsa color
Micro-Fill or similar Balsa filler thinned with adding a little water.
Sand the surface with fine sand paper and repeat this procedure until you
obtain a very smooth surface.

Hope this will help!

Nedim
