Dave:

I agree that just because a rule is not being followed that we should drop a
maneuver.

However, if we are to keep judging landings, it is very clear that a
complete re-vamp of the landing rules is due.  This has been done over and
over, and we still can't seem to get it to where it is judged properly.  Now
that we have a rules proposal to address this, IMHO, I would rather see it
dropped in lieu of the proposal that is before the Contest Board right now..
