DZ - Restrictor or Not

I've only run my DZ without the venturi restrictor and it's awesome!  However, since I have all the power I need, I've been wondering if adding the restrictor will appreciably reduce fuel consumption and improve (lower) idle.
Anyone have experience both with and without the restrictor?
