Nats RPM check

I don't think regulation or not was the question. I think the point was to
get some rpm data under consistent conditions.  Would probably need to be
voluntary.

Why don't you measure the RPMS at the same time you take the sound
measurement in the finals?  You could get prop, rpm, noise, engine, pipe,
fuel, combos all at once.

Ahhhh....someone that is willing to say it like it is! Thanks Ron.
I've NEVER been able to get similar rpm's from my engines even when
right out of the box from being repaired.
Same prop & fuel and on a test stand too.

It looks as though we have a volunteer!  

Seriously, I agree.  It would be nice to remove some of the variables, 
like altitude, temperature, bad memory, BS and hidden agendas and see 
just how some of these engines compare.
