If the idle is too fast and quits when you drop the trim down, or it loads
up and dies, the regulator is the secret to getting a solid idle. When this
idle is right all of the other settings fall into place. In to lean and out
to richen.

Maybe I'm lost but I always set the idle for 2000 with the transmitter adj
and set the lo end adj. so that it would hold 2000 when brought back from hi
throttle.As long as I have enough fuel delivery through the regulator for hi
end I never touch the regulater.
Make that last paragraph so that I can understand how you use the regulator
to set lo end.
Just here to learn.
