If the idle is too fast and quits when you drop the trim down, or it loads up and dies, the regulator is the secret to getting a solid idle. When this idle is right all of the other settings fall into place. In to lean and out to richen.

Eric.

Eric
Maybe I'm lost but I always set the idle for 2000 with the transmitter adj
and set the lo end adj. so that it would hold 2000 when brought back from hi
throttle. As long as I have enough fuel delivery through the regulator for hi
end I never touch the regulater.
Make that last paragraph so that I can understand how you use the regulator
to set lo end.
Just here to learn.
