You heard right Steve. 
The other will be lite during combustion.
And the idle is sweet.
I have one on a OS 140, and I can idle at 1300 with no worries.  Made the midrange problem go away as well.

  OK, let's start something new, I have a 3M 140 runs great, now the Question is do you need to use the glow driver on both, the instruction say to light the center one then light the back one, I have heard before that you don't need to light the back because it will light on it's own from the heat in the chamber.
