Hi Don,

You first need to remove the spring clip retainer holding the wrist 
pin into the piston.  Then you use a 4mm screw (one of the back plate 
screws works) and thread it into the wrist pin (it's tapped for this) 
and pull the wrist pin out of the piston.  Usually there is some 
carbon/varnish buildup in the road but that can be scraped out with 
an X-Acto blade.  Be aware that the wrist pin sometimes can take some 
tugging to remove; I've had to grab the screw head with a set of 
ViseGrips before to get a good pull.
