Last primer coat advice

Seeking painting advice,

I tried using a white epoxy primer from PPG (LT-40) instead of the K36 that
I'm used to. I've sanded the first primer coat off the wings and
everything has a white cast, with a few areas where the primer is gone and
others where it is still white. With K36, I'd triple the reducer and spray
a very thin coat to produce a uniform gray part, but the LT-40 seems like
it needs to be handled differently. You don't reduce this stuff so I don't
think theres a way to make a super thin mix for the final primer coat.
First quesiton: if anyone can correct me on this point and knows of a
compatible reducer, let me know.

I'm wondering if I should put one more primer coat on to get a uniform
color, and then paint using white Concept paint, OR if the white paint has
adequate opacity and I can just paint the wings white. Primers, in
general, have a high solid content and are heavy, but do they have better
opacity than paints?
