MK elevator misalignment (part 2)

Several years ago I had a similar problem with an all black plastic unit
as shown in the linked picture(s) as well as being 'loose' i.e. each
side could be moved independently of the other enough to cause a trim
problem even with the bolt as tight as I dared.
I didn't mess around....I returned the unit to Central Hobbys after
explaining the problem to Al. The unit he sent has RED instead of black
plastic arms and it has been fine.

Subject: MK elevator misalignment (part 2)
Hi folk's
Further to my comments on the MK elevator alignment issue, I have had a
couple e-mails from other builder flyers that 1) have no alignment
problem and 2) do have an alignment problem. It appears as though it may
be a bad batch so heads up.
I have posted a page showing the problem and a possible solution. Hope
this helps. http://members.shaw.ca/drev/mk.htm
Thanks to Iiro Nikkila for bring this to my (our) attention & offering a
solution.
Dave
