Jarvis,

Saturday I would have agreed with you, then Sunday at the Nederland, TX contest I saw the FAI guys fly F03 in the final round. When you see a plane pull straight up to a vertical line, drive up 200 feet, then do two 2 of 4 point rolls followed by a reverse snap then continue going straight upward another 200 feet without ever falling off heading you realize what this obsession with power is all about. WOW, that was cool!

  Just how much power do we need !!
  This past weekend, at the Fresno contest, I was able to see,3 of the top engines used in our modern 2meter pattern planes. 
  An they all seem to have about the same amout of power, But we as flyer want even more power. the planes are not getting bigger.
  So why do we want more power???

  Note most used airplane, THE FOCUS ( 7 )
  Will there be a YS 160 2 stroke? or DZ 160 ???
