Team Trials

I hate sending in that $50 ama membership every year until I remember that
the ama GAVE me a $2000 scholarship for college that, at that time(1987)
paid for two semesters of tuition! They really are super nice at the main
office and will help you in any way possible. It's hard for me to say
anything bad about the ama.

Guys, we are tuners. We don't follow the big herd, doing what everyone
does. We won't buy something just because it has a big color ad in a
magazine. We ask people that use the products we are thinking of
purchasing. Mass marketing is worthless for us, and not targeted to us.

I love my plane. I think about it when I'm at work. I miss it when I'm out
of town. There's a piece of me in that ship. We all feel this way. The
average AMA member... does not. I wouldn't worry about TEAM TRIAL coverage
in the ama magazine. Did anyone on this list not know that Troy made the
finals THAT DAY? No one on this list is depending on the AMA as their
sole source of information, especially about pattern. But for the majority
of sport fliers, it is their primary news source.

That article on building an Extra 300 was awesome. I thought the TOC
coverage was great as well.

I wish I could have seen the Team Trials. I wanted to BE there.
