OS 140RX Rear bearing

Dave, if you have a stainless bearing in your hand, remove both seals clean all the grease out with mineral spirits not gasoline coat it with mobil 1 or some after run oil, and install it, if the bearing in the motor is as standard steel one, it will probably go when you least want it to like mine did at a contest. I have replaced all my engines with the stainless and probably have 75 runs on one and it actually feels smoother the more I run it, also someone had mentioned the ring going on the OS 140 in about 300 flights well my
older engine started to sag on long up lines at approx 300, replaced the ring and cleaned the sleave and it runs like new again.

  I was wondering if when changing the rear bearing on my 140rx if I should leave the seals in the new bearing or take them out. also I was wondering at what point do you decide to change the bearing. the bearing in my engine seems to be very smooth but is starting to sound louder than it used to.
