FAI F3AL---Pattern IMAC combined

I've had enough. Can't be quiet any longer. I have flown both and I am
unaware of a difference in styles. I recently flew in a SCAT contest and
the judges rewarded my style even though most had never heard of me. I
believe pattern pilots, if I can still be considered one, won three of the
five classes. So the judges do recognize good flying and appreciate the
pattern style.
If there is a difference, it is the more constant and apparent lower speed
we see in scale aerobatics, but that is exactly what the FAI guys are trying
to emulate with their widebody aircraft. I like the idea of an open
aerobatic meet but with everyone doing the same maneuvers in each class and
being judged by the same judges.
