Excellent point. I raced bicycles as a kid, kick boxed through college and
now work on a trading desk but will tell you I am not a competitive person.
Lots of people are terrified of competing. In a society where every kid on
the team gets a trophy and people don't keep score I am not surprised at a
lack of competitive spirit. If you look at some of the most popular RC
events they are the Fly ins. NO Competition lots of BS and airplanes. HMMM
how do you do we compete with that?
