NEW concept? for pattern entry.

I am amazed at the response this thread has generated and confused at the 
same time. What is this trying to accomplish? Sounds like people are 
trying to combine 1982 with 2003 thinking that this will increase pattern 
attendance. I do not get it....We want to recruit people who abandoned 
pattern for one reason or another, and still have a 20 year old plane 
hanging on the wall? 
I think that all efforts to increase pattern attendance should focus on 
people unaware or semi unaware of pattern...not a retro effort.
