CD's Competing

The CDs in district 8 should be commended for the outstanding job they do
running our contests. Not only do they fly, they also spend as much time in
the judges chair as anyone else at the contest. I do not see any problem
with the CD competing. We should all try to give them a hand and help out
as much as we can. I know it takes a lot of effort to keep a contest
running and the CDs need our support.

Ed,

CD's may compete except I believe that if the contest has a large entry,
then
it becomes too distracting for the CD to fly well. If the contest has a
smaller entry, then it shouldn't be too bad, especially if he or she has
able
assistance in the scoring and judging assignments.
