CD's Competing

Ed,
I used to do it and I found it extremely difficult. To me, mental
preparations, concentration etc, are almost as important ( or even more so )
than the flying itself.
The only reason I used to compete was because my mates used to give me
grief..saying its not hard, blah blah blah. I stopped Cd'ing and made them
run a couple of contests. NONE of them even flew once for their first CD'd
contest. Now they keep their mouth shut.
I guess it all depends on the size of your contest, the help you have and
you yourself. I found I could do a better job when I didn't fly...or at
least I felt I did.
If you end up CD'ing a team trial...I definitely do not recommend flying as
well, it just doesn't work.
Good luck with your decision.
Tom

Hey all
Am curious about opinions on a CD competing in the contest also.
Good, Bad, OK as long as he/she does their job etc.
Thanx in advance.
Ed
