motor mounts

I have used the 1.40 mount that does not use a nose ring for a couple of seasons with zero problems. It saves the servos etc. and does not cause any flight issues.

We tried a hard mount and there was enough vibration to foam the fuel and rattle the ailerons.

Regards,

Eric.

A friend of mine wants to fly a Focus with the Webra 145 on a casual
basis.(less than 150 flights per season)
I use the ARI mount on my Focus/Webra.
He is not convinced the ARI price justifies his needs.
Would he be well served with a Hyde A, or just simply a hard mount
Thanx...croz
