BARCS is very pattern friendly - the field is setup with a box. I live in
Benicia which is right next to Vallejo and it takes me 20 minutes to get to
BARCS. Adrian Wong is found at the field on most afternoons flying pattern.
I only get out on weekends due to work. If you would like to fly at BARCS
please let me know as we will have to make temporary arrangements for you to
fly. The gate is also locked so it will require us to give you the
combination if necessary. There is one other field that is pattern friendly
- NBRC, which is located next to Skaggs Island - between Napa and Sonoma.

I will be spending about 8 weeks in Vallejo with weekends in Monterey. Any
pattern friendly fields in the area? Napa?
BARCS? Salinas?

I've been a member at LFE and SCCMAS but those seem a bit far for weekday
after work flying. I'm off work at 2 p.m.
everyday and don't want to sit in the hotel. Weekend driving is not a
problem.

thanks
