Fw: DIY cable channel - Hobby visions show. - No Direct TV

For what it's worth, I was told the same by both DISH network and Direct TV...no place to put the dish...too many tall trees.

All I have to go on is the presumably expert opinion of the DirectTV
installer, when he came out to set me up. One look at the trees and he said
it wouldn't fly. Can't think of a reason why he'd lie to me, since that
simply loses a potential customer. Maybe the satellite signal's weaker where
I am geographically...who knows.

RF signals that strong pass through pine trees without problem. My friend

has a HOUSE in his LOS! He gets DirectTV no problemo.
