D4 Champs - Unknowns

Why don't you guys just have a set of turn around and center maneuver's with there respective K#'s listed off and first thing in the morning pull names out of a hat and that person then picks the maneuver. Basically the same as the unknowns at the worlds. You could use that list or have a tamed down version of your own.

I like the idea of one unknown sequence at the Masters/FAI level, and let anyone who wants to try it, go for it. I would be willing to give it a try, with one exception as noted below. I also like Steve's idea of pick a center or turnaround manuever out of the hat. There should also be a special award for this part of the contest.

We do need to keep the District Championship part clean. Since the finals count for double points there will likely be some hot competition. If there are any close calls, I would prefer to keep a full 6 rounds for those classes, weather permitting.

How about letting the pilots that are going to participate pick the
maneuvers Saturday night, draw names from a hat and they pick a the next scheduled
part, center or turnaround, have as a mini contest between the final round of the
Champs and awards, and only the pilots that want to participate.
