Ha ha. I missed someone hovering last year by no more than an inch. Ask Satalino and Mick. Might've been yours. Problem with the bottle rockets is asymmetrical drag from the stick being mounted on the side. I was gonna ask Oddino how to overcome that. My problem is more equipment than munitions. I had trouble breathing for a few days after last year. This year I'm bringing a gas mask and flame-retardant clothing. Gimme a hover and you'll be mine!!!!!!

Hey Verne I can goof with you now because you don't have to judge me anymore. By the way I was hovering it 10 feet infront of you guys. Did you get a close look at the junker I was flying. Heck I was planning on giving a reward to someone if they hit it so I didn't have to take it home. Good news is I'm bringing back the same plane this year. You need to let me know how close is close enough. 2 feet? Mike

Hey sound good to me. I again will be flying one of the illuminated targets. I'm not worried about getting hit by those amateurs. I hope the weather on Sunday is better than last year. Mike

I'll talk to him about creating an unknown for maybe both Masters and FAI to fly (or any that wanted to try) and fly one or two rounds of it on Sunday. A lot would depend on the weather...I would want to ensure that we were able to fly 4 or 5 regular rounds, especially if the district points are close.
We can also maybe have a schedule for the night fly planes to fly...has potential...
As for the fireworks...I depend on the boys from Michigan to provide the pyrotechnical presentation...and they NEVER fail to outdo their previous years endeavors :)
