Mobil 1 is diapraghm safe and is a great corrosion inhibitor. Right Eric?

Having the luxury of living 3 miles from my office, I came home for lunch and promptly opened up the regulator body.
Although there was no sign of swelling or disfigurement in the diaphragm, I did note a very fine hairline crack where the diaphragm contacts the ridge of the seat for a seal. It was in a number of places around the edge of the diaphragm. You really need to look close as it wasn't apparent until I pulled at the side gently. I promise from this point forward to never, ever, use Prather in my YS engines. The YS Gods were not pleased with me...ahh...<VBG>
I did replace the diaphragm and plunger while I was at it and noted it was fairly clean. I will try it as soon as the weather clears. Might have to wait for the weekend due to rain.
Since I have three of these engines and would like to keep them operational, where can I get replacement parts?
YS1125 - Regulator Gasket (Need to replace this one now, plus a couple of spares)
YS1145 - Plunger
YS1130 - Diaphragm
YS1150 - Regulator Spring
Or any other gasket sets for the YS 61R LS...

You probably ruined your diaphragm with the after run oil - you can only use a non petroleum based oil like Ultra Oil. Replace it and try the following setup:
APC 13X10 (windy conditions) or 13 1/2X10 (calm days) prop.
15% nitro.
O.S. #8 plug or K&B 1L.
Hatori 650 pipe.
>From the glow plug to the first ring on the pipe measure 20 inches straight back.
This should idle way down and provide plenty of power for any airplane up to about 9 lbs. dry. Throttle transition S/B excellent and downlines can be very slow with the larger prop at low idle.

I am not an expert, but here goes.
The idle is still a little too high. My YS 61LS idled at 2000rpm with 13x8. I could go lower.
Have you checked the Diaphragm?
As basic maintenance, cleaning the needle valve assembly is also a good idea.
When I take out a previously stored engine, I try to clean out the oil (I use Mobile 1 Synthetic oil) with fuel. Remove glow plug, use starter to turn the engine that was hand primed before using starter. Flood it so that the old oil get mixed with fuel and drained out to plug hole. (Make sure to cover the plug hole with rag to prevent fuel/oil splash).
I am not sure about Prather's after run oil. never tried it.
Also, I don't use castor anymore. I had to clean one of OS pump because of the castor residue.

I'm having problems with the engine leaning out on transition to full throttle. The engine is in a 60 size pattern plane. The set up is unchanged from when I bought it. However, both engines have been sitting in a sealed bag after a good oiling with prather after run oil.
The pressure in the tank is fine and builds up to 6psi, measured on a pressure gauge. I'm confident that there is no air leak as it holds the pressure in the tank. Idle seemed to be very steady with no sign of dying at 2,700rpm Would also like to know where the reliable idle RPM is..
I allowed the engine to run for about 15 to 20 seconds at about 4,000rpm and as I slowly increased to half throttle or about 7,500rpm, it would immediately die. I took the head temp and it was about 250F. I changed the engine out with a back up and it did the same exact thing. Again, same results on both engines. I also change the glow plug and as expected it didn't change anything. I haven't checked the fuel filter, but I will shortly. The regulator is adjusted to flush with the case.
The original engine had about 25 flight on it ,and the back up is a brand new rebuild with new piston, sleeve, bearings, etc...)
Setting aside the fuel filter, is there anything else that I'm missing?
