Advanced sequence ?

This year will be my first year flying the advanced sequence. I have been practicing like crazy on the simulator until the Ohio weather cooperates. I'd hate to learn bad habits so I must pose a maneuver question. The last maneuver is the 2 1/2 turn spin with a half roll out. Do you roll the spin direction, the opposite direction, or does it not matter?  Thank you.Anthony Abdullah
