OD of 1/4-20 nylon bolts

Jim...the bolts I have, have a shoulder which is .252, the thread od is
.243.

Would someone be so kind as to measure the thread outer diameter of a
¼-20 nylon bolt?  I want to order some carbon rods that have an ID that
will fit the ¼-20 nylon bolt.  I'll use these as chases for the nylon
bolts.
