Trophies

Is it safe to say that any masters or FAI level pilot is not overly concerned with getting a trophy? I will be flying my first year of advanced this year and I have enough trophies to make my point on my building room wall and on the mantle. I treasure and value each and every trophy I have won, especially my first one (third place novice), but I would not be upset at just receiving a nice certificate printed on quality paper, perhaps with a picture of my defeated competition crying on it. Trophies to third place in the first two or three classes might save money if it is that big an issue.
