After 140 flights, I suggest you take the thing off the pipe and take a look 
inside it. Much of the material may be ablated away and you would never know 
it looking at the outside

PS.- Jim ---The same McMaster Carr that Bryan talked about, should carry 
glass reinforced or Kevlar reinforced Silicone steam hose in 3/4" size which 
is a standard size. You want silicone and not EPDM base rubber
