Piedmont Temptation

Dennis,

Lee sent me the PDF file for the templates. I'll need to play with the
copier to get them the right size.

I'm not in a hurry with the Temptation. I still need to cut my teeth in
Sportsman this year, but not with the Temptation..ha. I've went to a few
contests, entered one and helped at the others and never logged an official
flight. The plan is to be ready for Intermediate next year with the plane.
Since I've been good at procrastinating, I figured buying a nice plane would
help me commit..<vbg>.. Don't know enough about performance, but I think
it's the best looking plane out there today.

I will be at some D4 contest this year. Judges should be prepared with hard
hats and body armor, starting with Dayton on May 31st. ;^))

I have everything I need to get started. Equipment I will be using:

Webra 1.45 AAR
Hyde Mount
Greve Pipe
MK Bell crank w/ CF rods for elevator.

I've seen Troy's set up on the web-site. I've also read about the problems
some have noted with the MK dual coupler. The access to the fuse is a
concern for me in making sure the bed for the rods is secure and won't
weaken over time. If I had better access, I would probably use Troy's set
up. I'll probably lean to the MK set up.

Larry
