Hinging Techniques

Hi Guys,,

Need a little advice here.

I normally use the CA type hinges, but I have a 3D plane I'm putting
together that comes with traditional hinges.

My question is this.  I understand that you need to roughen the edges, put
Vaseline on the hinge etc, but how do you ensure you set enough epoxy in the
hinge slot?
