MessageHi Dave.
I'm glad you are still having that kind of service. I did also for first two years and 8 gals of fuel then it hit the fan this year.

Hi Del...no actually I only have one 140-L....but it's set up properly and runs great.
The thing I do is to get them set up properly on a test stand before flying and
that really helps a lot with the reliability.....not that I never have had trouble, just
that I won't waste time with it if it isn't correct....I fix it or get it fixed.
Fortunately for me, that does not happen very much.
Fuel & prop selection is very important for proper operation.
Dave

And I bet you have two or three in your stable as backups for when they don't correct? Mine gave me grief this year and with lack of parts and no backups lost out on two contests. 2 cycles never left me hanging in the breeze.

Why would YS change to 2 cycle again. Do they realize NOW that modelers are getting tired of their high maintenance 4 cycle engines?

Hi, All,
Here is something new from World Model (Manufacturer of Taiji, Zen)
http://homepage1.nifty.com/ishiimokei/accessory-img/vib%20mount.htm
OS engines has new small 30-4C engine added to compete with currently
popular Saito 30.
YS 110 is on sale in Japan, not really sure if it is going to replace
Ys91AC/FZ because they are still selling lots of those.
For Heli, 91ST 2-stroke is out for sale.
Saito has their popular 56 engine as a funfly version engine. A little
different? Maybe lost too much in competition with YS 53 & 63?
Gotta begin to save for one of YS 110.

Any ideas as to when YS will be releasing their new 150 2 cycle? Rumor has it that it will be an EFI type carburation, approx 25 ozs, with carbon-carbon piston and sleeve for heat dissipation and lightness, capable of turning a 20x10 apc at 8200. That would be fabulous
