I agree. I have an O.S. 1.40RX in my Typhoon 2000, and it pulls great. I'm not sure of the dimensions on your 1000, but I'm guessing it has less wing area than the 2000 which should make it a little bit lighter. I have an ES Composite Pipe which is LIGHT!!!!!!!!!!! Good combination.

My opinion,

Put in an OS 140RX, pick your exhaust system, I used a
Bolly pipe.

My OS set up worked great.

Not to offend anyone, but if you have followed this
for some time, rarely do you see hints, tips, tricks
to make the OS140RX work. Not so with the other
choices you mentioned.

If you like to tinker with engines, maybe make them
better, and save a few $$, try what you like. If you
want a low maintenance set-up, try the OS 140RX.
