Sheeting the Wings>>>Contact cement

To all,
3M77 was one of the contact cements used on the early
foam wings for .60 size pattern planes. Didn't like "Sorghum"
because it was water based and would warp the sheeting.
Those planes flew faster than today's 140 size / 2m pattern birds.
Sheeting used was 1/16 Balsa, 1/64 Ply or 3ply Poster Board.
No spars, just nylon tape at the spar location. Never had a
wing failure because of the contact cement letting go.
