Fixed gear vs. retracts

A fixed gear Prophecy has lower power requirements than a retract version.
It is also tougher to repair after a "hard" landing.
It takes more room to transport.
It has the same weight.
It does not score as well on landings.
The cost is the same IF you get it right the first time.
