Rhino Hide yes sir!!!....

Got that one.......and Verne is right we put this thing together and worked on it to try to get a good flow from one maneuver to another...no duplication type stuff....and also present a sequence that was challenging and offered some new twists.

Its a tough job. The idea was see if we could do a better job....not tear down what had been done. As for input asked for to create the survey yes there was time.....The idea came while filling out the survey at the NATS...and many like the choice of none of the above!

AND no I didn't feel left out Lee....rather it was done to give a choice aside from the NSRCA. I agree the NSRCA has a huge role to play in rules changes....That's a really good thing. I'm not disputing or attacking that....Just because it came from the NSRCA doesn't mean it should be done.....and just because it didn't come from the SIG doesn't mean its crap.

The current formula means the NSRCA has only one sequence they submit and that's it. You can't tell me that every single person in the NSRCA was happy with the choice of #1.....it was up to a majority vote as it should have been. The selection was by the counting of those votes as it should have been.

This was the NSRCA's red tape choice......The D6 solution was just another option and never intended to down play the choice of the NSRCA membership.....but as I have said many pattern flyers in this country are not NSRCA members any longer......For whatever the reason. We had 1200 and for some reason or many reasons we are now down in the 600+ range I don't have the number any longer...but I do know and all can agree our numbers are down.......as a Society and then look at Texas contests they get 30+ guys all the time where as a couple years ago they were in the 20's So its growing down there. Look at Masters at this years NATS an all time High I bet or at least since the Muncie move!

hey I'm trying to do a good thing here and give people a choice! that's all.....You don't buy Zenith if you want Sony....but if all you can buy is Zenith because Sony is sold out......well then load it up cause Monday Night Football starts in 30mins.

Wojtek,
Sounds great on paper but doesn't work in reality. The key element missing
in this approach is flow. There's lots of neat maneuvers out there to choose
from. The difficult part of schedule building is getting the right mix that
includes a good balance of maneuver types, difficulty level, challenge
considerations, wind direction and flow from one maneuver through the next.
Try assembling a whole schedule and you'll see what I mean. If you REALLY
want a thrashing, post it out here or somewhere for public scrutiny. You'll
need the hide of a rhino to take the abuse <g>.
