Atlanta GA Pattern

Hi Neal,

GMA is about the best for 2M pattern. We have 2 permanent boxes lined out
all year.

It's located on the north side of Atlanta, close to Lake Lanier. Lots of
friendly (but slightly crazed) pattern pilots in the morning hours.
Afternoon the sun gets in the box.

There are a few other fields in the area, but practicing with a 2 meter
plane could get rough there. Doable, but rough.

On the south side, Griffin is about the best bet for a pattern scene.

Like Ron said, many many contests within driving range throughout the
season. About 8-10 in our district alone, and a few more in the Carolinas.
