Eric,
I think you misunderstood...I certainly understand that you choose not to
confront him and that you choose what to write in your articles.
"Exactly the point", implies that if you wrote such a writing you would be
under scrutiny to say the least.
My point was as you stated, "You would be deported for making such comments
about IMAC that you have heard from Pattern folks"...So I ask, "What make
him different from you when applying the standard?"...
To me, this about a standard for "Code of Ethics" or a level playing
field... Not about breaking the law or applying the 1st amendment.
Respectfully,
Larry

No! The point is that it is my choice to do that and Mike H's choice to do
what he did.

Exactly the point!!!!
>I write about promoting the sport, the ways to get in, the new "toys".
>Stories from pilots that are interesting. Dave Vilwok and Frank Grannelli
>for example. I have not yet printed any bad IMAC letters because, you know
>what, a) Don't get any, b) would not any way. That's MY choice. Mike H.

I feel this is fair and respectable...
>If you don't like what he said you tell him or the AMA editors etc. If you
>don't like what I write, ditto. BUT I won't let you tell me to make Mike
>apologize. Not going to happen.
Understandable...Since I started this phase of the thread, I would say it's
only a recommendation and not demanding any action. I would not want any one
to take action or do anything they don't either feel comfortable with or
believe in. There are many ways to skin a cat....All are reasonable...
Personally I'm not stressed or even heated up on this topic but in my
opinion it does deserve an explantion. However, I am willing to take up the
offer (on my own behalf as an AMA member not representing anyone) to contact
him personally and discuss it. However, Since I'm an NSRCA member, I will
respect the wishes of any NSRCA Officer and refrain if that is considered in
the best interest for the NSRCA. I would be very surprised if someone hasn't
already called him about it....
