Chuck...Iv'e had this problem too. You might comment on what prop mfg
and size
you are using. As an example, APC props have different hub thickness for
different sizes.

Has anybody figured out a way to get a TT 3" FAI spinner to mount on an
OS 1.60 FX? Problem is that the adapter nut is so long that the spinner
won't seat on the backplate (by at least 1/4"). I've talked to
Tru-Turn, and options are:
1. Change to std spinner (which may put me out of the 2m box)
2. Modify the adapter nut in lathe to cut it down. But if I modify it,
the nut may bottom on the crank, which means that I'd have to cut the
crank down (and I'm not planning on doing that).
