Bob, A 2M would be super, but this is the perfect size if want to do-it at 10' off the ground without having to take your nitro pill!!! The OS 50SX is tons of power (though a 4-stroke Sounds a lot better), with clean knife-edge Loops, and hover forever.
Thanks for pointing me in this direction
Wade

If you can swing a 70 4-stroke, that extra prop REALLY makes this a fun 3D Pattern airplane. It WORKS....for a cheap alternative.
      Wade - wouldn't a 2 M version be awesome?

Tower. The costs assume that you took advantage of their internet special. Dealers also are price competitive.

      Wade,

Where did you buy your Venus 40?

Here is the All Up Cost for the Venus 40 in 3D trim, assuming all new:

      Venus 40 $155

OS 50SX $145 (OS 46FX is -$50, plenty of power)

      Hitec 4 x 325BBs $48

      Hitec 605BB $30 (Rudder) (Standard save $18)

      Receiver Hitec Supreme 8 $52

Not in Kit: Y Lead, Fuel Lines, VoltWatch, HD Switch, Battery $50

      Total All Up = $450 (to $382)

Not bad as most of this stuff is reusable over-and-over.

      Wade
