Whip antenna for Futaba 8U

Wanting to replace my stock antenna on my 8U with one of those shorter whip
antennas.  I have looked around the web and couldn't find one (Central,
Radio South, etc.).  Any tips on a brand / source?  BTW, if this is a bad
idea for performance reasons, please tell me that also!   TIA, Chuck
