Bob,

I've not found that to be the case.  Most seem to prefer email.  On the
British pattern page (www.gbrcaa.org) there is an on-line discussion that
uses the canned front page version.  It's OK, but not too hot.  It seems
most people can't be bothered going on line to browse web pages.

For me, the best medium is the NNTP service (Newsgroup) However, getting on
a backbone is difficult.

Rick, I *REALLY* like the forum idea.  Restricted postings, moderators,
subject/topic threads....how difficult/costly is that to manage?

I think MANY would probably prefer that to an email list - maybe.
