Kavan Starter cone

Hi, All,
Do you people use Soft starter rubber or regular that comes with the
starter?  I tried Soft rubber from Central Hobbies because the regular one
grind my plastic spinner. If I use the soft on my TT spinners, it sticks on
the spinner cone.  Should I glue it?  The regular rubber skid on the
aluminum spinners.
