Other answers.....We fly here year round, some days can be real cold (cold
to us...never above 45F) and then we do not fly. SA is alot warmer. Spring
can be real windy, separates the men from the boys-and clears out the
sport flyers at the local field. Feb CAN be a great month-coldfront comes
thru then the next day 50-60 F and dead calm. Wind pick up in mid March.
Wind gone by June 1then sweat-fest begins. Lance and I once flew on a
weekday after work, feeling a bit hotter then usual-turned out to be 107.
SA rarely has above 100F but it has humidity.

OK guys I may be moving to San Antonio, TX.....How much activity is around
in the area.....Any of you guys down there and I have no idea how far away
Lance, Gray and Gene are from San Antonio......?
Also how early in the year do the contests start and how is the weather
during the Feb-Mar-Apr time frame? Looking to see if its windy spring
unpredictable or is its nice for flying.
>From the looks of it might only be there Feb thru May....Just looking at
options....Vegas and Phoenix are options also....And I know how the
weather is there and the level of pattern activity is pretty good there
also......Especially early in the season.
Let me know guys....
