In a district this size I believe more contests are better. As I evaluated my involvement I looked at how many contests I could attend, distance was the bottom line. To make it worth the time and effort I felt 3-4. With the number of contests, spread, and driving distance I can do this. It the number of contests are reduced, depending on where they are held I may not be able to attend as many. I know it is a HUGE burden on the small number or people who organize and run these contests.
