<div>Well, this is my input as a "newbie". In a district this size I believe more contests are better. As I evaluated my involvement I looked at how many contests I could attend, distance was the bottom line. To make it worth the time and effort I felt 3-4.
With the number of contests, spread, and driving distance I can do this. It the number of contests are reduced, depending on where they are held I may not be able to attend as many. I know it is a HUGE burden on the small number or people who organize and
run these contests. Maybe the solution is not to reduce the number or contests, but to recruit and train more people to run them.</div>
