looks like it would be exceptional for Pattern, IMAC had a contest there last
year and plan to come back in 2014. My challenge is distance for most D8
flyers. For most it is going to be at least 6 to 10 hours driving time. I
would certainly support it, but I think we would be hard pressed to get five

right under the 150 M line and the<br>two clubs I belong to aren't very
suitable.<br><br>I've spoken to Tim McGee of the 'Silverhills R/C

interested in<br>having a pattern contest. The Silverhills field is very near
Silverwood Them<br>Park 18 mi N of CDA ID.<br><br>A map / sky view is too

47.897384 - 116.704931 or E-mail me & I send it<br>direct.<br><br>Tim has
the tentative D-8 schedule & current rules. His E-mail reply<br>indicated
that the later part of July or the first week in August works for<br>him. I
sent him contest options, - straight TA - combination TA & Classic -<br>or
a 1 day primer / 1 day contest (below).<br>Tim is a CD and could CD the event.
I've explained that we use contestant<br>judging and need little
support.<br><br>I don't know how much interest there is in the area or what
kind of venue to<br>suggest or if we should add another event into a somewhat
loaded contest<br>schedule. Tim and a couple members interested in flying
pattern want to host<br>a contest.<br><br>I'd like to get some feedback on
this but time is critical. Tim would like<br>to nail down a date next
week.<br><br>What do you all
