Probably the best place to keep your lipos is in an old woodstove....but you'd have to have the pipe run outside. It would contain the fire if you have combustion. It's pretty easy to find an old woodstove. They are just sitting around as they don't meet todays EPA specs. You can put a want ad on Craigs List. A lot of them have gone for scrap the last couple years.

Rex

From: astropuppy@gmail.com
Date: Sun, 6 Nov 2011 19:33:47 -0700
To: nsrca-dist8@lists.nsrca.org
Subject: Re: [NSRCA-dist8] unmanned fire extinguishers

Gordon,
I'm warning you never go to http://garagejournal.com/forum/ some of the stuff will blow you away. Imagine garages that adjust the temperature depending on whether you have the door open - or not - the third week of September.

Unbelievable stuff. And yes, I am going to order at least one unmanned extinguisher for my garage/workshop. It will be mounted directly above my lipos. I believe it will help me sleep better. $150 really isn't that much considering the investment we have made in our hobby.
