is Jim I can't speak for Rex but YES anyone not only can attend the judging
seminar but we encourage it. It is very helpful to get a detailed description
of exactly how OUR flights are to be judged. As for judging another sequence it
isn't all that hard after observing a few you begin to remember them. Most
judging in generic; placement, line lengths, radiuses, and angles. <span
style="mso-spacerun: yes"> </span>The hardest part is knowing what the maneuver
is suppose to look like so you can zero a total screw up or recognize maneuver
separation lines or their absence. <o:p></o:p></span></font></span></p>
<p class=MsoNormal><span class=EmailStyle20><font size=2 color=navy face=Arial><span
style='font-size:10.0pt;mso-bidi-font-size:12.0pt;font-family:Arial'>As for
pattern flying in Idaho and Montana there isn't much. IMAC is big in Idaho. A
Spokane contest at the Barons field is somewhat inconvenient (full size traffic)
but not out of the question. Athol (Farragut St Park) is a public facility that
can be reserved. I still don't have a Deer Park commitments schedule to shuffle
into the D-8 and Canadian schedules. As I remember there is also a Canadian
contest north of Montana that could include eastern D-8 competitors. If I go to
Canada do you think they will let me come back?<o:p></o:p></span></font></span></p>

The problem is that, with all the new rules changes and the new Masters

all the necessary information is readily available. The Power Point

Masters Should be available soon. I know that all the rules changes have
been approved,<br>
but haven't as yet seen it all in print. I'm guessing that everything
should be available<br>
by early spring.<br>

** This periond of time is in question for the contest in Wenatchee.<br>

*** There has been some talk of the possibility of holding a contest in
Sandy, Oregon. <span class=apple-converted-space> </span><br>
The Molalla crew has been working on that. They intend to go an fly at
that site to see<br>
if it is suitable for our purposes. If the Sandy contest can be held, it
could be thrown<span class=apple-converted-space> </span><br>
together at most any time. This could be a good possiblilty for those who
wish to attend<span class=apple-converted-space> </span><br>
a contest during the time the NATs are being held in mid July. We usually
have a long dry<span class=apple-converted-space> </span><br>
spell during this time as there is 5-6 weeks between the contest at sTri-Cities
and the<span class=apple-converted-space> </span><br>
contest at Redmond, Ore. I'd like to get some feedback on this idea.<br>
