Hi Sean
Ya, there are a lot of changes, especially for those that have always flown the AMA sequences.
As for the two contests at one field, I was referring to Redmond. I doubt we could do two at Molalla as their field use schedule is apparently fairly full.

Thanks Rex! Yes, I would attend two Molalla contests.
Besides the important changes you mentioned for pilots who competed in other than FAI classes, I just wanted to point out one more: the immediate roll reversal for rolls or part rolls in opposite direction as pointed out by Don Ramsey in the latest K-factor.

Subject: [NSRCA-dist8] Judging
Hi folks
It's a new season, new maneuver schedules and new rules. If you'll remember, we are now flying under FAI rules. We will all be on the same page, but we need to prepare.
I have attached the F3A Maneuver Execution Guide. It is an excellent read with all the info you will need, but you will need to go through it several times for it to make complete sense.
If you are already used to FAI rules, you will notice quite a bit has changed, such as maneuver size, radii uniformity, and constant speed. It is enough of a change that it will require considerable study for us all.
The NSRCA judging certification fo
2024-25 us not up and running yet. I'm sure Mr. Carter is busy working on it and will be upon us before we know it.
With the changes in requirements we better start getting prepared now... it will change some of the ways in which we fly our sequences.
On another subject.... we have plans on five locations for contests this season. I am assuming the Molalla contest is going to happen.... so the question is, do we want to have two contests in Redmond? As it stands, we will have a fairly large time gap between Molalla and Medford. I can make that happen, but I need to get them on the club schedule asap. Let me know what your wishes are.
