Karl, I would not risk it! But if you do, keep in mind that the total capacity of your pack would be that of the lower capacity battery: 4300 mAh, not 5800+4300=10100/2=5050. Your 5800 pack has about 25% more capacity that the 4300. If you use the usual 75% out of the 5800 pack, your 4300 pack will be down to 0!

Any problem or downside to using two different capacity batteries together – eg – a flight pack with one 5C 5800 and on 5C 4300?
